Hangool Institute Holds Pre-Launch Stakeholder Consultation in Baidoa
Ahead of its official launch, Hangool Institute convened local stakeholders in Baidoa for a consultation session, bringing together government representatives, civil society, and community voices to discuss the institute's founding priorities in peace, security, and governance.
Today, Hangool Institute for Security and Governance successfully convened its Pre-Launch Stakeholder Consultation at AAR Hotel in Baidoa, bringing together representatives from government institutions, academia, civil society, community leaders, youth, and other key stakeholders.
The consultation served as an important platform to introduce the Institute's vision and mission while gathering valuable insights to inform its strategic direction ahead of the official launch.
During the meeting, the leadership of Hangool Institute highlighted the Institute's commitment to producing independent, evidence-based research and fostering policy dialogue on critical issues related to peace, security, governance, conflict prevention, and sustainable development in Somalia and the Horn of Africa.
Participants welcomed the establishment of the Institute, describing it as a timely and much-needed initiative that will contribute to informed decision-making, policy development, and innovative solutions to the region's evolving challenges.
